Halliday Games Dubai Series is a season of in-person gaming tournaments in Dubai, UAE, featuring EA SPORTS FC and Dota 2, with a third title to be announced. Players qualify online by completing daily missions, then compete at live events. MGC is the title sponsor.

Yes. Registration and participation are completely free. You never need to buy, hold or connect any token, coin or crypto wallet to register, earn XP or compete.

Players aged 18 or over who can attend the events in person in Dubai. Events are players-only — there are no spectator tickets.

Register, complete daily missions in your player panel and earn XP. Reaching 1,000 XP — Level 11, the start of the Gold league — makes you eligible. Eligible players then confirm their slot; when an event is full, extra players join the waitlist.

After completing a mission, mark it as done in your panel and post your proof in our Discord channel #mission-proof together with your Player ID. An admin checks it and approves it on the website — the XP lands in your panel, usually within 24 hours.

Three events are planned in Dubai before 8 December 2026: an Opening Qualifier, an Elimination Night and the Grand Final. Final dates and the venue are confirmed to eligible players first.

The proposed season prize pool is AED 13,500 across three titles — per title AED 3,000 for first place, AED 1,000 for second and AED 500 for third. Final prizes are confirmed with each event announcement.

MGC is the title sponsor of the Dubai Series. Sponsorship does not change how you play: entry is free and never depends on MGC or any other digital asset. XP has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and eligibility only unlocks event entry.

Yes for Dota 2. Every player registers individually and earns their own eligibility; team details are collected when slots are confirmed. EA SPORTS FC is played 1v1.

Open the Register page on hallidaygame.com and enter your name, email, gamer tag, Discord handle and Instagram handle, pick your character, then confirm you are 18 or over and accept the rules. Registration is free and takes about a minute. Once your account is confirmed, your player panel — with your Player ID and daily missions — is ready to use.

An email address and password, your name, gamer tag, Discord handle and Instagram handle. Your city and preferred game are optional. You also confirm you are 18+ and accept the rules; marketing and media consents are asked separately and are optional.

They are how missions are verified. Most missions happen on Instagram, and proof is posted in the #mission-proof channel on our Discord with your Player ID. Matching handles lets admins approve your XP quickly and stops anyone claiming someone else's work.

No. Each person may hold one Halliday Games account. Duplicate, shared or fake accounts are removed, and any XP earned through them can be revoked.

Yes. You can update your gamer tag, Discord and Instagram handles, city and preferred game from your player panel at any time. Keep them accurate — they must match the accounts you use for missions and the name you play under at events.

Email hello@hallidaygame.com from the address you registered with and ask for your account to be deleted. We confirm when it is done. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept, for how long and why.

Daily missions are short social tasks — share a post, tag friends, post a story, join the Discord — listed in your Halliday Games player panel. Each approved mission adds XP towards your level and league. New missions appear daily, and some are only live for a limited window.

You need 1,000 XP — Level 11, the first rank of the Gold league (Gold III). On the way you pass through Recruit (from 0 XP), Iron (from 150 XP), Bronze (from 380 XP) and Silver (from 650 XP). Higher leagues — Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, Mythic and Sovereign — recognise the most active players, and the season's top 25 also wear the High Score crown.

Complete the mission, mark it as done in your player panel, then post a screenshot or link in #mission-proof on the Halliday Games Discord together with your Player ID. An admin checks it and approves it on the website; the XP appears in your panel, usually within 24 hours.

Striped XP on your level bar is waiting for an admin to check your proof. It turns solid — and counts towards your level, league and the leaderboard — once it is approved. If the proof is rejected, the striped part disappears and the admin's note tells you why.

The usual reasons are: the proof did not include your Player ID, the screenshot did not show the completed task, the post was deleted or set to private, or the handle did not match your profile. Check the admin's note in your panel and ask in Discord if you think it is a mistake.

Only for abuse — bots, fake or duplicate accounts, bought engagement, edited proof, or deleting posts after they were approved. XP never decays or resets on its own. Serious or repeated abuse can remove your eligibility for the season.

No. XP only comes from approved missions. It cannot be bought, traded or transferred, has no cash value and is not a token or digital asset.

Every approved mission adds XP, and your level rises with your lifetime XP. Reaching Level L takes 10 × (L − 1)² XP in total up to Level 31 (9,000 XP); after that every level costs a flat 600 XP. Levels never drop — there is no decay and no reset between events.

Leagues group players by lifetime XP: Recruit (0 XP), Iron (150 XP), Bronze (380 XP), Silver (650 XP), Gold (1,000 XP), Platinum (1,800 XP), Diamond (2,900 XP), Master (4,300 XP), Grandmaster (6,200 XP), Mythic (8,700 XP) and Sovereign (12,000 XP). Each one is split into divisions III, II and I. On top of that, the High Score crown marks the top 25 players of the season. You are never moved down from a league you have reached with lifetime XP.

Gold. Reaching 1,000 XP — Level 11, Gold III — makes you eligible to confirm a seat at a Dubai Series event. Leagues above Gold unlock more titles, frames and banners.

High Score is the top 25 players of the season by XP, recalculated every hour. A season is one event cycle. If you drop out of the top 25, the crown goes, but you keep the league your lifetime XP has earned — you never fall below it.

Yes. The season leaderboard in your player panel ranks players by approved XP and shows each player's gamer tag, character, level and league — never real names or contact details. XP still waiting for approval is not counted.

Yes. Pick one of 10 characters — Architect, Racer, Huntress, Forge, Scout, Ronin, Bounty, Keeper, Commander and Operator. All 10 are free from day one; you choose one when you register and can switch once every 24 hours from your player panel.

They are cosmetics for your player card, unlocked as you level up and climb leagues — for example Level 5: “Runner” title and Cyan Ring frame; Level 10: “Gate Seeker” title and Dubai Skyline Night banner; Level 11: “Event Ready” title and Gold Pass frame. Every league you reach adds its own title, frame and banner.

No. Earned only — through levels and leagues. Never sold, and nothing can be bought to unlock them. Yours to keep: they can't be traded or transferred to another player, and they don't expire. No cash value. Cosmetics, XP, levels and leagues are not tokens or digital assets.

Any registered player aged 18+ with at least 100 approved XP who has accepted the chat rules. Until then you can read every room, and the message box shows how much XP you still need. Chatting never earns XP.

There are 8 rules, pinned at the top of every room:

1. 1.Respect everyone — no insults, slurs or threats. Banter is welcome.
2. 2.Gaming only — no politics, religion, countries or leaders.
3. 3.Privacy — no phone numbers, emails, addresses or photos of anyone.
4. 4.No spam — no flooding, repeats, ALL CAPS or emoji walls.
5. 5.No links, ads, selling, account trading or begging. Official Halliday Games links only.
6. 6.No crypto or money talk — no coins, prices, wallets or investment tips. XP has no cash value.
7. 7.No fake news, rumours, staff impersonation or fake proof.
8. 8.Mods decide: warning → 10-min mute → 24-h mute → 7-day mute → ban. Report with ⋯ › Report.

Each strike moves you one step: warning → 10-minute mute → 24-hour mute → 7-day mute → ban. Strikes expire after 30 days, and you can appeal each sanction once. Slurs, threats, sharing someone's personal details, scams, or insulting the UAE, its leaders or religion lead to an immediate ban and a review. Your strikes are only visible to you.

Automatic filters block links (except official Halliday Games, Discord and Instagram links), phone numbers, emails, wallet addresses and coin talk, spam such as repeated messages or ALL CAPS, and messages sent faster than one every 3 seconds. Borderline messages are held for a moderator; while they wait, only you can see them, marked “Pending review”.

Open the ⋯ menu on the message and choose Report. Moderators review every report; a message reported by 3 different players is hidden until a moderator has looked at it.

Yes. Every Dubai Series event is played in person in Dubai, UAE. There is no online or remote entry, so only register if you can attend.

Reach the Gold league (Level 11, 1,000 XP) first. When confirmations open for an event, eligible players are invited to confirm their slot. Seats are limited — 64 for the Opening Qualifier, 48 for the Elimination Night and 32 for the Grand Final — and once an event is full, new confirmations join the waitlist.

You join the waitlist. If a confirmed player drops out or does not check in, their seat is offered to waitlisted players, and you are contacted if one opens up for you.

No. Dubai Series events are players-only — there are no spectator tickets. Friends can follow along on Halliday Games social channels and in Discord.

A valid photo ID (Emirates ID or passport), your Player ID from the player panel, and your own controller, mouse, keyboard or headset if you prefer them. Referees check all gear before play. Arrive early — late check-in can cost you your seat.

Not yet. All Season 01 dates are tentative until the organiser confirms them. Confirmed players receive the venue, final timings and the event pack first, and any change is announced in Discord and by email.

Future seasons will be announced through official channels. Nothing beyond the Dubai Series events is promised today, it is not linked to the sponsor or any digital asset, and taking part stays free.

The proposed Season 01 prize pool is AED 13,500 across 3 titles: AED 3,000 for champion, AED 1,000 for runner-up and AED 500 for third place, per title. Champions are decided at the Grand Final.

Prizes are confirmed with each event announcement. Until then the amounts are proposed and may change; the confirmed figures published for an event are the ones that apply.

Winners are contacted after the event. Before any prize is released, we verify identity with a valid photo ID and confirm the player met every rule. Payment method and timing are agreed directly with each winner.

Yes. Cheating, playing on someone else's account, giving false details or failing the ID check forfeits the prize, which may then pass to the next eligible finisher.

Prizes are listed in UAE dirhams (AED). You never need to buy, hold or connect any token, coin or crypto wallet to register, earn XP or compete.
