Official rules

1. You must be 18 or older. Age is verified with valid photo ID at check-in and before any prize is released.
2. You must be able to attend in person in Dubai, UAE. There is no online, remote or proxy entry.
3. One account per person. Shared, duplicate or fake accounts are removed and any XP earned through them is revoked.
4. Your name, gamer tag, Discord and Instagram handles must be accurate and your own. You compete under the gamer tag on your profile.
5. To be eligible for an event you must reach Gold league · Level 11 · 1,000 XP and confirm your slot. Each event has a fixed capacity; once it is full, further confirmations join the waitlist and seats are offered as they free up.
6. Organiser staff, referees and admins may not compete in brackets they officiate.

1. Missions are listed in your player panel with the task, the XP it is worth and, where relevant, the window it is live for.
2. To claim XP, mark the mission as done in your panel and post your proof — a screenshot or link — in #mission-proof on our Discord server (opening soon), including your Player ID.
3. Admins review proof and approve or reject it on the website. Approved XP is added to your panel, usually within 24 hours. Until then it shows as pending and does not count.
4. Admins may reject proof that is incomplete, unclear, private, edited or that doesn’t match the handles on your profile. You can ask for a second look in Discord; the admin team’s decision is final.
5. Not allowed: bots or automation, fake or purchased accounts, bought likes, follows or views, coordinated engagement schemes, edited screenshots, and deleting or hiding posts after they were approved.
6. XP may be revoked for abuse, and serious or repeated abuse removes your eligibility for the season. XP has no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or transferred.

1. Levels. Reaching Level L takes 10 × (L − 1)² XP in total up to Level 31 (9,000 XP); after that every level costs a flat 600 XP. Only approved XP counts.
2. Leagues. Your league follows your lifetime XP, and each league is split into divisions III, II and I. The floors are in the table below.
3. Never down. Levels and lifetime leagues don’t decay, reset or demote. The only way to lose them is XP removed for breaking these rules.
4. High Score. The top 25 players of the season by XP hold the High Score crown, recalculated every hour. A season is one event cycle. Drop out of the top 25 and the crown goes; your lifetime league stays.
5. Leaderboard. The season leaderboard shows gamer tags, characters, levels and leagues only. Pending XP is not counted.
6. The gate. Reaching Gold league · Level 11 · 1,000 XP (Gold III) makes you eligible to confirm a seat. Eligibility does not guarantee a seat — capacity and the waitlist still apply.

1. Choose one of 10 characters — Architect, Racer, Huntress, Forge, Scout, Ronin, Bounty, Keeper, Commander and Operator. All of them are free from the day you register, and you can switch once every 24 hours.
2. Titles, frames and banners unlock with levels and leagues, as listed below. Animated ones only move when you hover over them.

Cosmetics policy

• Earned only — through levels and leagues. Never sold, and nothing can be bought to unlock them.
• Yours to keep: they can't be traded or transferred to another player, and they don't expire.
• No cash value. Cosmetics, XP, levels and leagues are not tokens or digital assets.
• No sponsor branding — cosmetics are Halliday Games designs only.
• If XP is removed for breaking the rules, anything it unlocked goes with it.

1. Respect everyone — no insults, slurs or threats. Banter is welcome.
2. Gaming only — no politics, religion, countries or leaders.
3. Privacy — no phone numbers, emails, addresses or photos of anyone.
4. No spam — no flooding, repeats, ALL CAPS or emoji walls.
5. No links, ads, selling, account trading or begging. Official Halliday Games links only.
6. No crypto or money talk — no coins, prices, wallets or investment tips. XP has no cash value.
7. No fake news, rumours, staff impersonation or fake proof.
8. Mods decide: warning → 10-min mute → 24-h mute → 7-day mute → ban. Report with ⋯ › Report.

Sanctions

• Each strike moves you one step up the ladder below; strikes expire after 30 days. A warning must be acknowledged before you can post again.
• Slurs, threats, sharing someone's personal details, scams, or insulting the UAE, its leaders or religion lead to an immediate ban and a review by an admin.
• You can appeal each sanction once — from the notice in your panel or by email to hello@hallidaygame.com. Your strikes are visible only to you.
• Report a message with ⋯ › Report. A message reported by 3 different players is hidden until a moderator reviews it.

Automatic filters

• Rate limit: one message every 3 seconds and no more than 5 in 30 seconds. Slow mode switches on when more than 100 players are online.
• Messages up to 280 characters, with at most 3 @mentions.
• Spam: the same message twice within 60 seconds, mostly-capitals messages or more than 8 emoji are blocked.
• Links are blocked except hallidaygame.com and our official Discord and Instagram.
• Emails, phone numbers, wallet addresses, coin tickers and referral links are blocked.
• Borderline messages are held for a moderator and shown only to you as “Pending review”.

Chatting earns no XP. Staff carry a moderator or admin tag, and any sponsor staff are tagged as sponsor. Moderators may remove messages that break these rules even if a filter let them through.

1. Check in on time with valid photo ID and your Player ID. Late check-in can cost you your seat, which may be offered to the waitlist.
2. Follow the referees. Their decisions on the day are final, including on disputes, disconnections, restarts and forfeits.
3. Play on your own account, as yourself. Account sharing and playing on someone else’s behalf lead to disqualification.
4. No cheating: no unauthorised software, macros, scripts or exploits, and no tampering with stations or other players’ equipment.
5. Your own peripherals are welcome but are inspected before play; referees may refuse any device.
6. Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, hate speech, threats or abusive behaviour — on site, in the lobby chat or anywhere online — lead to removal and may lead to a ban from future events.
7. Follow venue rules and UAE law at all times. Staff may remove anyone whose behaviour puts others at risk.
8. Match settings, formats and tie-breakers for EA SPORTS FC and Dota 2 are published in each event pack before check-in and form part of these rules.

Rules — required

You accept these rules and the Terms of Use to create an account and take part. Without it we can’t run your profile, verify missions or seat you at an event.

Marketing — optional

Lets us send you news about upcoming events and future seasons. Switch it off any time in your player panel; messages about your account and confirmed events still reach you.

Media — optional

Lets us use photos and video in which you appear at events for recaps and promotion. You can compete without it, and change your choice in your player panel at any time; changes apply to content published afterwards.

Accepting the chat rules is a separate, one-time step when you first post in the lobby. How we handle the data behind all of this is set out in the Privacy Policy.

1. The proposed season prize pool is AED 13,500 across 3 titles — AED 3,000 for champion, AED 1,000 for runner-up and AED 500 for third place per title. Prizes are subject to confirmation with each event announcement; the confirmed figures published for an event are the ones that apply.
2. Prizes are awarded per title to the finishing positions decided at the Grand Final.
3. Winners must pass identity and eligibility checks with valid photo ID before any prize is released.
4. Prizes are not transferable. For team titles, how a prize is shared is confirmed with the team before payout.
5. A prize can be withheld or forfeited for any breach of these rules and may pass to the next eligible finisher.
6. Payment method and timing are agreed directly with each winner.

MGC Coin (MGC) is the title sponsor of the Dubai Series. The sponsor has no say in results, eligibility, mission approvals, chat moderation or refereeing decisions, and its branding never appears on player cosmetics.

Sponsored content. MGC is a virtual asset: virtual assets are highly volatile and may lose all of their value, with no financial protection. Taking part is free and never requires buying, holding or connecting any digital asset. XP has no cash value and cannot be transferred. Halliday Games does not offer, sell or advise on virtual assets.

1. We may update these rules — for example dates, formats, prizes or the level and league thresholds. Material changes are announced on this site and in Discord, and the version published here applies.
2. Events may be postponed, moved or cancelled for safety, venue or other reasons outside our control. Confirmed players are told first.
3. Raise match disputes with the referee on the day. For anything else — including appeals on missions, eligibility or chat sanctions — email hello@hallidaygame.com within 7 days, with your Player ID.
